Buying a Good Wine Doesn’t Have to Cost a Fortune

Many people like to enjoy a bottle of wine with a meal but have no idea how to select an appropriate and well-priced wine for the occasion. Some wine bottle shops list ratings with some of the better bottles. According to the Wine Spectator a wine that receives a rating of between 85 and 89 is of high quality, a 90 or above indicates an excellent wine.

Looking Savvy on a Budget

Who says you have to spend a fortune to look good? There are many ways for women to dress fashionably without going over budget.

  • Trends: The fashion world is full of trends that come and go and for a woman on a tight budget it can be difficult to keep up with these trends. A good solution is to buy timeless classic base pieces- like a nice pair of tailored black pants or blue jeans. Whenever a new item or a designer look comes into vogue you can combine your timeless pieces with trendy ones. For example, sheer flowy tops are in style right now- you can buy a shirt from Express or H&M (for about $35 or even less) and wear that with your nice pair of denim jeans- which never go out of style! Magazines such as Lucky Magazine give great tips about combining inexpensive pieces with pricier items.

Health Insurance: More Important than You Thought

By Samantha Barton

Are you looking forward to get in shape for the holiday season but not able to meet the expenses of a gym membership? A common dilemma for fitness enthusiasts but most of them are unaware that the solution lies just in front of them.

Ask yourself a very basic question. Why do you need health insurance? The most apparent answer to this question is that health insurance helps you to save your income tax and can assist you in meeting your medical expenses. But most of us do not know that health insurance can also include additional cover for other services.

Getting the Most Budgeting Bang for Your Buck

It is 12:05 pm on a Monday and as usual you’re standing in the line at your favorite sandwich shop. You amuse yourself by looking at the menu even though you know what you are going to order. You know that eating out is more expensive and less nutritious than eating at home or in the office. You chastise yourself and say: “This is my last lunch outside. The next time I will definitely take something from home!” Sadly, this is not your only indulgence. You buy clothes, bags and shoes even though you already have umpteen of these luxuries at home. You spend money as if dollars grew on trees. Does this story sound familiar?

Bring Abundance and Prosperity into Your Life

When you hear the words “abundance” and “prosperity” what is the first question that immediately comes to mind? Is it money, fulfilling relationships, a lovely house to live in, peace of mind, a successful career, an expensive vacation or a diamond ring? Many people have diverse definitions for abundance.

According to the dictionary, prosperity is defined as “flourishing and thriving” and “economic state of growth with rising profits and full employment.” Abundance is “an overflowing supply, fullness, ample sufficiency, great plenty, profusion, copious supply.”
